The Walt Disney Company Manager, Creative Services, Studio in China

Responsible for creative design, direction, and consistency for marketing assets for The Walt Disney Studio China. The Creative Services Manager will support all Disney brands in the developing of marketing creative assets that will be incorporated into our marketing and advertising plans to promote Studio’s theatrical releases.

Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the establishment of a strong Disney branded marketing presence in China for Studio Entertainment market; ensure consistency with Global brand and image guidelines and design strategies at all accounts.

  • Provide creative direction for studio creative assets and communicate direction to our internal and external creative and business partners.

  • Manage the development of marketing content for our titles.

  • Manage the execution of advertising for our releases.

  • Collaborate with studio marketing and corporate marketing team on commercial strategy and implementation.

  • Liaise with Global Studio team to share and leverage best practices.

  • Partner with Product Creative team and creative counterparts in other lines of business to share and leverage best practices.

  • Work with agencies and vendors to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of high quality work.

  • Manage the creative marketing budget set for every title and ensure timely delivery.

Basic Qualifications :

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years work experience in leading creative and marketing for leading multi-national company, 4A ad agency or entertainment related company

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop creative marketing contents and programs including digital marketing, Social Media, TVC development, point-of-sale promotion, online activation as well as ability in media planning, research and event execution.

  • The successful candidate must be an avid movie fan with genuine passion for the film industry and marketing field work.

  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD, WACOM Pad

  • Well-developed computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.; Mac knowledge a plus not a must)

  • Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin;

Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design/Marketing/Advertising Management from a leading university.

  • Education and training - Relevant art or general commercial design qualifications
