GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS AND POSITION
The Digital Advertising Operations Executive (Digital Ad Ops Executive) will support online, mobile and paid social media operations at The Walt Disney Company supporting Disney, Marvel and Star Wars franchises and their external partners. The incumbent will plan, traffic, optimize campaigns on digital platforms, analyze data and provide regular insights-led reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should be proactive self-starters with consumer-focused digital marketing experience working in multi-national companies and/or agencies. Candidates must possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Candidates should ideally be strong fans of our brands, fluent in English and a major Southeast Asian language.
Attention to detail, analytical prowess, along with the ability to grasp and translate campaign data insights into brand wins are crucial.
Manage digital media planning/forecasting and buying for Oh My Disney Asia, Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars brands and partners in Southeast Asia.
Execute campaigns, particularly on Facebook/Instagram, DCM and Adwords, ensuring timely and accurate implementation
Develop and track key media performance metrics
Analyse campaign performance and make insights-led optimisations
Manage and distribute regular reporting for internal and external stakeholders, distilling actionable insights
Work with online and tech teams for click tracking attribution analysis and retargeting
Collaborate closely with research team for big data reporting, analysis and insights
Coordinate media assets and copies with creative and publishing teams
Collaborate with Disney’s social media agency to plan and deliver on campaign objectives together
Keep track of allocated media budgets and billings regularly to prevent over- or under-spending
Own and manage Disney’s mobile banner display network across Disney mobile apps and games
Create case studies, champion media best practices and campaign benchmarks
Troubleshoot media technical and admin issues, which may involve conversion tracking, attribution, billings, financial reconciliation and creative and ad copy requirements
Follow social media and digital marketing trends and recommend innovative partners and initiatives
Lead tests on new innovative formats, executions, platforms and ad tech that can further enhance awareness cut-through and engagement
Support live monitoring of social buzz and sentiment
Any other ad-hoc project as and when assigned
Patient, a sense of humour and a desire to go above and beyond one’s normal duties
Basic Qualifications :
2-4 years’ of experience and strong understanding in paid social and digital media (publisher, advertiser, agency, ad network, ad exchange and/or DSP work experience) in Southeast Asia, with the ability to positively influence digital reach, engagement, and user acquisition from efficient digital advertising operations and campaign management
2-4 years’ experience in hands-on, paid media buying experience, particularly for Facebook/Instagram, DoubleClick (DBM, DCM, DFP), AdWords, other ad serving platforms
Demonstrated ability in getting digital campaigns live, producing accurate and timely insights, leading to successful performance optimisations and elevating brand impact
Results-driven, with excellent track record in organization skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills
Strong experience in communicating effectively with business partners and top management is a strong plus.
Passion for social media, paid performance, data analytics and our brands will be strongly preferred.
Strong Excel and Keynote/PowerPoint skills
Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Fluency in a Southeast Asian language is a strong plus
Media & Entertainment brand and/or E-commerce experience is a strong plus
Familiarity with processes and policies of a multinational company will be added advantage.
