The Walt Disney Company Jr Technician, Attraction/Facility/Central Shops/Hotel/Horticulture in Shanghai, China
Conduct Theme Park Facility Preventative Maintenance, Troubleshoot, assist various team to complete various tasks.
Perform Preventative Maintenance including trouble shooting, repairs and maintaining Theme Park HVAC, Mechanic, Electric, Plumbing system and Fit out. This will entail pushing/pulling/lifting heavy equipment and tools sometimes, climbing stairs and ladders while grasping parts and tools. May work indoors or outside during inclement weather and on any shift.
Preventative Maintenance - Must have technical electrical competence, able to read and understand detailed instruction, and able to pass all compliance required technical and safety training. Will walk or bicycle, kneel, bend, and climb. May push vehicles to reposition them for maintenance checks. This will entail pushing/pulling equipment less than 50 lbs., lifting tools and equipment less than 50 lbs., climbing stairs and ladders while grasping parts and tools. May work indoors or outside during inclement weather and on any shift. Requires frequent handling of powered/manual tools weighing 5-50 lbs.
Manage assigned workload through use of CMMS system (MAXIMO).
Responsible for the safe and proper use and maintenance of hand tools and company issued specialty tools.
Be able to coordinate and partner with other skilled craftsmen of various building trades. Must have very good oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrate a visible commitment to safety.
Keep cleanliness and tidy for equipment and environment in workshops and machine rooms and follow accordingly.
Carry out any miscellaneous tasks as directed by management
Basic Qualifications :
- More than 1 years of experience in building or hotel maintenance work experience . (Experience with multi-facility or multi-technical skills preferred).
Preferred Qualifications :
Basic electric, mechanic, plumbing or HVAC technical skill .
Written and verbal communication skills (Chinese required).
Mentally alert and physically fit (may be required to work on third shift; constant movement on foot or in vehicle; material and tools/equipment handling).

Required Education :
High school diploma is required/vocational school in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred)
Refrigeration or electrical certificate and related operating license
