The Walt Disney Company will launch a Disney-branded streaming service in 2019 featuring an incomparable collection of content from its brands and franchises recognized and respected all over the world. The direct-to-consumer (DTC) service will serve as the exclusive home for viewing original movies, series, short-form, and more, along with a vibrant catalogue that spans classic Disney Animation to the most recent movie releases.

We’re looking for a talented, and team-oriented Marketing Designer to join our San Francisco-based design team. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and will thrive upon the legacy of our company while embracing unconventional thinking. Above all we are seeking an individual who is passionate about contributing to The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer experience through strategic hard-work and determination.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and execute creative concepts, design, and production of delightful cross-channel brand experiences.

  • Collaborate with product designers and other stakeholders to drive a holistic, high-quality customer experience, prioritizing brand continuity in applications, customer communications, and marketing campaigns.

  • Collaborate with business and marketing stakeholders to establish goals, strategies, and success metrics for your work.

  • Distill marketing challenges and business goals into focused creative briefs.

  • Adhere to an iterative development process – from concept through production – that incorporates a high degree of transparency and feedback cycles.

  • Assist with the development of product brand collateral and maintenance of brand documentation.

  • Evangelize a customer-focused approach across teams; provide input and guidance to junior team members and colleagues.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience driving compelling brand design strategy and execution for digital consumer products.

  • An online portfolio featuring great work across multiple mediums/platforms.

  • Professional experience with digital media/entertainment and associated platforms (mobile, web, TV) is a significant advantage.

  • Mastery of graphic design fundamentals and tools. Typography, Layout, Color. Motion design/editing skills are an advantage.

  • Mastery of production practices across a variety of mediums: primarily digital and print.

  • Prior experience in creating, evolving and evangelizing brand style systems and usage guidelines across internal teams and external partners.
