It does this by taking a holistic, objective and integrated view of the business, as well as marketing and sales programs, and delivering actionable data analytics, synthesis, and insights.

CIMA is seeking an experienced, collaborative and inspiring leader to define and execute the strategy for how we leverage data and advanced analytics to drive decision-making across the Marketing and Sales organization. The key strategic priorities of this role are to 1) to identify and understand opportunities and risks to maximize business performance, and 2) to maximize the impact of our Marketing and Sales investments. This role will lead an organization that utilizes best practices in advanced analytics, decision science, data and insight-driven storytelling and visualization that help optimize Marketing and Sales strategy and execution. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Consumer Insight-Measurement and Analytics and can be based in Glendale or Orlando.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the global strategic vision to maximize the value of the Marketing & Sales analytics and insights

  • Act as a collaborative catalyst for change to inspire new thinking within the M&S organization

  • Lead innovation in decision science and analytics for the Marketing & Sales organization

  • Evaluate marketing effectiveness and create and execute a strategic measurement and decisioning framework that supports both operational and longer term decisions

  • Provide insight to maximize marketing and sales investments and impact, with a strong focus on predictive/prescriptive decision making

  • Analyze ongoing WDPR business and consumer performance to identify risks and opportunities

  • Develop our capabilities around data visualization and insight-driven storytelling

  • Partner with M&S, including Strategy, Media, CRM, Digital, etc. as well as other analytic teams including Revenue Management, Pricing, Forecasting and Finance to inform strategies and decision making

  • Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent through training and development, succession planning and organizational vibrancy

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience, including 5+ years as an executive, preferably in marketing data sciences/advanced analytics

  • Deep experience in best practice predictive analytics, statistical modeling and optimization

  • Subject matter expert in marketing, paid media, CRM, digital and social media analytics

  • Demonstrated ability to create an innovative vision and lead and develop a team to deliver on the vision

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive work across cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to influence partners and senior leadership with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach

  • Strong ability to glean insights and tell a story from data, analytics and insights inspiring action and change

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to ask questions to gain understanding, partner with others and deal with differing points of view

  • Proven ability to lead a team of highly capable leaders, anticipating the quickly changing marketing and sales landscape and inspiring and aligning the team around a clear, achievable vision

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Information Management and Marketing technology

Required Education :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field

Preferred Education :

  • MBA or Advanced Degree in a related marketing or analytics field
