BAMTECH designs, develops, and delivers direct-to-consumer streaming services for a growing roster of sports, news, and entertainment partners including the NHL, MLB, PGA TOUR, WWE Network, and Riot Games/League of Legends.
The Senior Media Analyst will translate complex data sets into actionable insights to continuously optimize brand media and content strategies. This person will be responsible for analyzing performance data from third-party partners (DCM) to inform media buying, other marketing strategies and decisions, and ultimately drive lower CPAs across all acquisition sources.
Oversee digital media function for BAMTECH
Collaborate with key BAMTECH internal teams including, Marketing, Data and Analytics, Creative, Ad Tech and BAMTECH partners to develop campaign goals that align with KPIs.
Track campaign performance against KPIs, including but not limited to: spend, CPA, impressions delivered, clicks, CTR, interaction rate/time and site activity
Identify, gather, integrate, and analyze relevant data to optimize campaigns
Compile actionable, timely and user-friendly reports inclusive of key insights and actionable recommendations to optimize campaign performance
Expertise in creating models derived from insights and implementing findings into external channels to drive actionable insights
Troubleshoot issues related to data and analytics, including managing reporting requests and POVs for paid media
Manage data contracts, access to ad serving and measurement platforms, and set up/maintain data feeds as needed
Expert understanding of the multi channels landscape, including but not limited to: search, display, programmatic, affiliate & partners (apple, amazon, etc.)
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years in business/marketing/media analyst role.
Strong expertise in the digital media ecosystem
Expertise with ad serving and reporting tools (DoubleClick/DART essential)
Expertise manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends and using a multitude of disparate data sources and tools
Experience with SQL, SAS, Python or other database querying language preferred
Excellent understanding of media fundamentals and industry knowledge, including media metrics (i.e. buying models, CPV, VCR, GRP, etc.) and quantitative business measures.
Strong analytical ability, critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
Exhibits strong initiative, sound attention to detail and ability to think strategically
Data-driven and analytical with experience working in a metrics/KPI driven organization
Expertise with DMP solutions, i.e. BlueKai, Adobe, Salesforce, etc.
Experience desired in the OTT space and/or streaming media industry
Required Education :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science or related field required.
