Responsibilities :

  • Lead the strategy, definition, development and execution of BAMTECH Media’s consumer lifecycle growth across consumer streaming services, including ESPN+ and Disney’s forthcoming streaming service to scale to a global audience of over 100M

  • Identify all aspects of the marketing automation stack including features, functionality and capabilities in an effort to drive marketing efficiency across the customer lifecycle improve cost per acquisition, increase retention, reduce churn, increase customer lifetime value, among other growth KPIs

  • Develop and document marketing business requirements to meet the scaled and global needs of BAMTECH stakeholders

  • Collaborate with team members from across the organization including Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Product and Platform to build a strong, flexible marketing automation technology and capability stack

  • Working with the cross-company team develop a build vs partner strategy; identify and select vendors; draft and issue RFPs for services, if applicable

  • Manage the resourcing and execution of established plan

  • Establish a center of excellence for all marketing automation and lifecycle marketing across businesses and channels (email, push, landing pages, direct mail, retargeting, in-product, etc.) to improve growth KPIs

  • Partner with marketing and data science for segmentation, and optimize user journeys and conversion pathsTest and monitor KPIs and campaign data to proactively make recommendations to various marketing teams and business owners; pivot when necessary

  • Responsible for determining the set of metrics to measure deliverability, list hygiene and retention campaign performance to improve activation, retention and customer experience

Basic Qualifications :

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing automation product management or product development

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation best practices for consumer-facing businesses; stays on top of latest industry developments and trends

  • Expertise in the latest technologies for lifecycle marketing

  • Experience managing areas and technologies as part of an enterprise marketing automation solution including: CRM, DMP, email systems, push notification systems, analytics, data warehouses

  • Significant experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns along the customer journey

  • Experience building and mentoring a team of technical marketing professionals

  • Demonstrable skills around implementing acquisition and CRM campaigns using a test and optimize strategy; analysis of ROI and campaign performance

  • Understanding of laws and regulations affecting direct digital marketing campaigns including VPPA, GDPR and CAN-SPAM

  • Familiarity with SQL or similar query language; outstanding analytics/data skills

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Prefers to work in a high-performing, entrepreneurial environment. Self-starter who can work collaboratively and independently

  • Strategic thinker with operational excellence
