Disney Theatrical Group is in search of a Licensing Assistant for the Theatrical Licensing Department. This position reports directly to the Director, Theatrical Licensing.
This is a 4 month project hire role anticipated to end by September, 2018.
Organize and manage contacts, vendors, and other service providers who work on Disney licensing projects including printers, copyists, music producers, production companies.
Manage and track EFC / budgets on projects in-process.
Manage accounts payable, P-card transactions, and other routine payments.
Manage supply chain for promotional marketing collateral and warehouse inventory.
Coordinate promotional mailings and communication(s) to licensing customers.
Create project briefs for graphic & layout designers; manage routing and approval for internal projects, marketing collateral and printed materials.
Assist in the development and creation of workflow and timelines for all licensing materials projects.
Provide production assistance support and planning for licensing projects including keynote presentations, promotional events, receptions and panels.
Coordinate with Music Theatre International (MTI) and Samuel French on delivery and timeline of new titles.
Serve as a customer service rep for Disney licensing which includes answering guest emails and licensing questions.
Assist with trade shows & conference planning logistics.
Attend industry events to represent and promote Disney licensing (conferences, seminars, festivals, expos).
Basic Qualifications :
Ability to track multiple projects and timelines on a daily basis.
Ability to work in multiple work-styles and different teams.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Office, Keynote.
Strong passion for theatre and/or knowledge of stock & amateur licensing landscape.
Preferred Qualifications :
Not required but preferred proficiency in +InDesign +Photoshop +Finale +Asana.
Not required but preferred skills in proofreading and copy editing.
