The Walt Disney Company Web & Marketing Coordinator - Maternity replacement in Milano, Italy

Support the local Mktg and PR team to achieve the overall brand attendance room nights, tickets and revenue goals for Parks & Resorts (specifically Disneyland Paris) by developing marketing and communication initiatives, partnerships with third companies and delivering effective marketing campaigns, both online and offline.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the team of Marketing and PR creating initiatives and special projects in order to support Parks Italian business.

  • Development and review of all marketing and advertising materials, for both ATL and BTL, online and offline, and sign them off (spots, videos, banners, flyers…).

  • Develop creative briefs for Central Creative team or agency to address market and partner needs while ensuring consistency with brand strategy.

  • Translate BtoC publishing materials: brief integration with local needs, adaptation of materials.

  • Coordination with Central & development in country of DLP BtoC official website and related minisites Italian section contents and offers maintenance/update, to be aligned with marketing, communication and distribution strategies and always appealing to Italian consumers;

  • CRM sendings and content adaptation to local market; provide ads sitelinks texts for search and materials for affiliation network.

  • Identify digital special initiatives (with or without partners) and support pan-European ones to maximize online visibility, traffic to the website and direct sales.

  • Identify and report on insights and trends to internal teams and advises on potential opportunities or risks.

  • Coordinate and localize all media and consumer research.

  • Support research results analysis and identify local insights and actionable and creative initiatives to drive business.

Required Education :

At least 2 years in a similar position

Preferred Education :

  • High School degree/University degree (Tourism degree is useful)

  • Fluent in English and French (preferable)

Additional Information :

  • Excellent IT skills – particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, access, adobe, etc

  • Good understanding of commercial marketing and creative process, high level of accuracy, creativity and enthusiasm.

  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise and work under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good flexible approach.

  • Knowledge of media landscape (+ travel industry desirable).
