The Walt Disney Company Senior Project Analyst, International Consumer Payments in London, United Kingdom

We have an exciting opportunity for an experience Senior Project Analyst for a permanent role in the Hammersmith office.

The purpose of this role is to support execution of major International consumer payments initiatives for the enterprise. This includes actively participating on project teams for new business initiatives, supporting documentation of project activities, or addressing concerns as they arise in the course of project execution. In addition, the role will support operational activities related to global ECP processes/policies that affect the international regions.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the largest and most complex International consumer payments initiatives undertaken by the Enterprise, including providing project management support, liaising across cross functional teams and lines of business, and supporting problem solving and issue resolution. This will include initiatives related to existing LOBs in EMEA as well as any new digital content / streaming business activities.

  • Support the EMEA LOBs around continuous optimization of payment performance, liaising with Disney’s payment providers and payment facilitators to obtain the necessary support and information. Project manage payment optimisation efforts in the EMEA region.

  • Undertake EMEA-related operational activities for the different global ECP processes, policies and initiatives around risk management, audit & controls, vendor/contract management, data analytics and management reporting

  • Collaborate with internal organizations on initiatives that drive Direct-to-consumer payment growth and support the development of the payment acceptance business case; understand details, trade-offs, and ramifications of various alternatives.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in treasury, finance, or operational functions

  • Experience with transaction businesses, or businesses that rely on processing volume / scale

  • Prior experience in working across functions and segments

  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel in particular)

  • Minimum of 1 year using business management software (Ex. SAP)

  • Strong organisational skills, follow up and follow through are required

  • Excellent matrix management skills, able to work with different organisations proactively and positively in a project setting

  • Ability to multi-task and operate within an organisation conducting business in multiple time zones is required

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, prioritise, meet deadlines, and be resourceful and flexible, while maintaining absolute professionalism

  • Prior experience working in roles that require project management expertise

  • Prior experience interacting with external suppliers to drive service quality/excellence and to foster positive business relationships

Preferred Qualifications :

  • MBA preferred in Operations Management, Strategy, or Finance

  • Consulting background is advantageous
