The Walt Disney Company Media Operations Executive (Ad Ops) in London, United Kingdom

We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill the permanent position of Media Operations Executive, based in Hammersmith London.

This role is based within Disney’s Media Sales & Partnerships business and the ideal candidate would have strong experience in video & digital advertising operations. This is a great opportunity for applicants with technical aptitude and a passion for YouTube, video and native advertising. It is a technical ad ops role where the individual will work across a range of Disney's Partnerships to drive performance. Experience in a media agency across multiple clients and campaigns will be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify and propose process and procedure improvements as appropriate

  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team and fellow colleagues, sharing knowledge and experience

  • Work with sales to ensure we are delivering the best solution for their Client/Agency

  • Work with sales to identify and advance any opportunities to improve performance of campaigns

  • Ensure client retention is maximized by delivering high standard of understanding and ensuring the highest levels of service with regard to pre, mid and post campaign support

  • Develop and maintain necessary technical knowledge to understand full campaign delivery process, enabling accurate and proficient trafficking and troubleshooting of all campaigns

  • Communicate with client/agency on campaign delivery and performance supported by the generation of regular reports

  • Commitment to learn how to use all internal systems and tools required to manage a campaign and to maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of those systems

  • Proactively seek to advance knowledge of Disney’s digital products and commercial opportunities

Basic Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in an advertising operations role

  • University level of education with a relevant degree in either computing science or advertising

  • Understand social advertising e.g Facebook and Instagram

  • High level knowledge of Ad Tech/Programmatic LUMAscape space – DSPs, SSPs, Exchanges, etc.

  • Able to use Excel and Powerpoint to Intermediate standard.

  • Understand and be able to traffic ad campaigns for all forms of rich media, including new ad formats, native and cross platform

  • Understanding of 3rd party ad servers (DFP, AdWords for Video)

  • Be able to use debugging and simulator tools such as Charles, Chrome Inspector, Xcode etc.

  • Basic understanding of Javascript, HTML and XML and is able to explain concept to other members of the team
