The Walt Disney Company Analytics Operations Manager in London, United Kingdom

We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill the permanent position of Analytics Operations Manager, based in Hammersmith London.

The successful candidate will be part of a team helping to evaluate and optimise performance of Disney’s digital apps and websites, including Disney.xx sites (e.g. Disney.co.uk), Disney Tickets, Disney Channel apps as well as new e-commerce initiatives.

The primary function of the role is to architect a digital data solution across a range of products and to support the administration of Adobe Analytics as a central part of that solution. The role therefore requires excellent business stakeholder management, project management, documentation and communication skills. As part of the role you will be expected to translate business requirements into a technical brief for development teams and to work hand in hand with those team towards the successful implementation of analytics tracking. You will therefore need an excellent knowledge of analytics tagging, CMS platforms and metadata taxonomies/hierarchies.

In addition to the operations management you will be expected to engage with and deliver analysis to help guide production, marketing and technology teams. This can cover all form of analysis including acquisition, retention, product insight as well as AB experimentation.

The ideal candidate would also be experienced in using a variety of analytical and planning tools, in particular visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI), SQL, AB testing, tag management (Tealium), as well as project management systems such as JIRA.

Responsibilities :

  • Manages analytic setup/processes & implementation planning for digital products

  • Adobe Analytics expertise and administration

  • Stakeholder support, training, maintain service portal

  • Creates dashboards, templates, standard reports

  • Liaise with wider Disney organisation on data integration projects

  • Manages adoption of new tools, oversees roadmap

  • Accountable for overall data stewardship, stability, quality assurance

  • Contributes to analysis & reporting

Basic Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as an analytics operations manager

  • Experience using a variety of analytical and planning tools

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
