The Walt Disney Company Senior Digital Marketing Executive in Lantau Island, Hong Kong

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing social media and digital marketing campaigns for the Hong Kong and International markets. He/she will assist the manager to translate the brand’s positioning and overall messaging into creative executions for various media channels including digital, social, in-park, digital partnerships etc., as well as managing end-to-end tracking for all digital media. This position needs to be creative and able to manage the production of content/creative assets with the help of the internal creative team or external agency resources.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the manager in developing digital and social plans for marketing campaigns

  • Plan and manage content for Hong Kong Disneyland’s official social media channels, digital campaigns, key opinion leaders (KOL’s) and media partners.

  • Coordinate with different partners to ensure the consistency and accuracy of messages on social media, digital platforms and

  • Brief and work closely with the internal creative team and external agencies on the production of creative assets, ensuring all materials are delivered with the right quality and on time

  • Assist with content management and implementation of campaign content on the official Hong Kong Disneyland website and mobile app

  • Coordinate with different agencies and the internal website team to ensure proper end-to-end tracking of digital and social campaigns (analytics)

  • Responsible for designing, maintaining and implementing work flow processes to ensure full compliance of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort / Disney companies’ policies

  • Serve as a brand guardian to ensure full compliance of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s brand personality, character representation and storytelling in the development of content with media partners

Basic Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and social media campaign development, preferably gained on the agency or client-side (ideally travel, hospitality, entertainment)

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications

  • Deep understanding of content and digital marketing trends, (social) media landscapes and production technologies in key markets (Hong Kong and Southeast Asia)

  • Proven ability to interact with internal teams and external business partners (digital / creative agencies, media agencies, production houses)

  • Ability to inspire, motivate others, and cope with diversity

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and negotiation skills

  • Fluent in written & spoken Cantonese, English & Mandarin
