The Walt Disney Company Associate Manager, Digital Marketing in Lantau Island, Hong Kong

The Associate Manager, Digital Marketing will be responsible for developing, leading, implementing digital marketing communications in China, with primary focus on social media. The associate manager should be able to demonstrate a strong social media background with solid experiences in managing, engaging and expanding the companies' social communities, KOL, paid social resources and media platforms for the China market. This position will work closely with various stakeholders in the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and executing social media programs through the creation of a social media content calendar to engage existing and acquire new followers, as well as to drive the sales of direct channels

  • Develop and curate on-brand and shareable content regularly with in-house creative team, PR team and agencies for various social media channels to support brand building, promotions and events. Coordinate with different business units to ensure the consistency and accuracy of messages across all the social media channels

  • Develop yearly social media strategy across all different social media platforms.

  • Track and measure campaign performance to best optimize resources to drive results.

  • Integrate social media with other digital touch points to create holistic campaign planning and implementation.

  • Plan and implement other paid digital communications, including display, programmatic and search.

  • Build and develop strong relationships with bloggers and influencers

  • Act as an in-house expert in the social media space, and provide advice on best practices, trends and emerging platforms

Basic Qualifications :

  • At least 6 years relevant experience in developing content and managing social media campaigns, preferably gained from top Interactive /social media agency or MNCs. Experience gained in the travel, lifestyle or consumer products industry focus is an advantage

  • University Degree in Communications or Marketing Management

  • Must possess knowledge on popular social media platforms, including WeChat, Weibo, and other social community platforms

  • Hands on experience with social media analytics tools

  • Ability to motivate and manage vendors/agencies to achieve agreed goals, as well as to interface and influence internal Line of Business (LOBs) on content development

  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage work against project timelines, and among the needs of a group of stakeholders. Able to make judgment independently on project quality, creative and resource deployment

  • Strong writing skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
