The Sales Communications Manager is responsible for the production, integration and execution of key communications messages across the Sales organization. Examples of these include: internal communications, development of sales client message strategy, and providing an integrated sales point of view on key initiatives. This critical role is a central point to ensure execution and integration of key sales communications and directly supports senior executive needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop executive-level presentations, infographics and communications content, including doing the necessary research, managing the efforts to collect the necessary inputs, and using tools to visually tell the story

  • Define and execute the department’s internal and external communications strategy

  • Develop positioning and message points on Sales related issues, ensure alignment across the organization when key messages need to be deployed

  • Consolidate internal communications and information to develop talking points and/or written communications

  • Develop integrated communications plans; ensure the appropriate partners have the information to deliver internal and external communications plans

  • Ensure full execution of all plans through a variety partners requiring collaboration with Sales executives, PR, PA, and other executive engagement teams

  • Coordinate and facilitate leadership and senior team meetings led by the SVP including agenda development, presentations, speeches, participant coordination and follow-up tracking

  • Partner with senior executive to further the vision of organizational vibrancy through ideas, engagement and communication

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing communications, supporting executive communications and integration needs

  • Strong presentation, writing/positioning and editing communication skills including ability to tell stories through the use of PowerPoint to all levels of the organization and drafting executive communications

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Demonstrated strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and proven ability to influence at multiple levels in the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not clearly defined through self-reliance and resourcefulness

  • Must work well in a fast-paced business and display professionalism and confidence in complex situations

  • Advanced proficiency in use of Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous travel and / or hospitality industry experience in a sales or marketing communications role

  • Minimum 8 years experience in sales or marketing communications role

  • Knowledge of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Sales and Marketing

Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a communications or business field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Education :

  • Advanced degree and/or relevant industry certifications
