The Financial Analyst role in Facilities and Operations Services (FOS) Finance provides support for businesses within the Domestic FOS organization. The role participates in the development of the key planning processes such as AOP, Long Term Plan, Forecast, and performs technical analyses to determine present and future financial performance. The Analyst will help facilitate the development of pro forma inputs for their FOS businesses, and will partner with various finance and operations teams. This position manages complex financial analyses and develops executive-level PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities :

  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts

  • Prepares financial reports and analyses to Finance and Operations teams

  • Owns key aspects of the monthly financial reporting processes and close deliverables

  • Provides key information for decision-making support

  • Reviews and highlights key findings with Manager and senior leadership

  • Prepares presentation packages/decks

  • Works with other functional areas to provide project support

  • Ensures accuracy of all financial information included in planning processes and financial analysis

  • Develops a strong understanding of the business supported and the ability to proactively provide and analyze data before it’s requested and gather agreement with all partners on relevant issues

  • Supports the WDPR finance processes to ensure the integrity of the accounting functionality, controls and processes related to all Finance and Finance-related systems

Basic Qualifications :

  • Experience with Excel, SAP, Khalix, PowerPoint

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting; Understanding of traditional finance cycle (5YP, AOP, Forecast, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proven strong analytical skills

  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task

  • Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of the business, the processes required to support the business, and the development of relationships with various teams

  • Demonstrated ability to understand the unique aspect of the client they support and how financial choices impact their business.

  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

  • Demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Ability to compose concise written descriptions of complex issues, supported by detailed analysis

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2+ years of related experience

  • Ability to simplify complex issues and incorporates effective “storytelling” to engage and influence the audience

  • Ability to deliver presentations and communication to audiences of all levels persuasively, articulately and with full command of the topic

Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
