The Walt Disney Company Sales Administrator, Studio Entertainment (6-month contract) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In view of Southeast Asia’s growth, we are now looking for a Sales Administrator (Contract), Studio Entertainment, (Singapore and Malaysia) to join the Studio Theatrical Distribution Team. This role will be based in Malaysia.

This role reports into Sr. Manager of Sales and Distribution in Malaysia but will support both the Malaysia and Singapore Sales and Distribution teams. You will ensure that the commercial value of all Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures (WDSMP) theatrical releases in both Singapore and Malaysia are fully exploited.

WDSMP distributes all theatrical titles from, among others, Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm. The department collaborates closely with the Studio Marketing, Partnership, and Finance teams to guarantee that Disney films are given the best possible theatrical release. The sales environment can be pressured, numbers oriented and frequently deadline driven.

The role requires an individual to work closely with the Studio Distribution and Studio Finance teams in both Singapore and Malaysia.

Responsibilities :

  • Invoicing and billing process film releases in both Singapore and Malaysia

  • Assisting in reporting and administrative tasks pertaining to the Studio Entertainment scope

  • Assisting in casual buyer duties for submission into SAP

  • Pulling and consolidation of data as and when necessary

Basic Qualifications :

  • One to three years’ experience in administration

  • Prior work experience in accounts is preferred

Skills Required:

  • Exceptional eye for detail

  • Interest in our Disney brand

  • Equipped with strong project management, and proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Must possess high level of enthusiasm and be a strong team player

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – including Outlook (email), PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP preferred but not necessary
