The Walt Disney Company Business Development Manager in Guangzhou, China
Key Responsibilities –
•Achieve or exceed the agreed sales goals of admission (theme park) and room night (2 hotels) from the respective region.
•Work with Manager, Business Development, China and Manager, Distribution Marketing to develop sales and distribution model and travel trade marketing strategy appropriate for responsible region.
•Lead and manage the local sales team, oversee the entire office routines as well as to perform other administrative duties.
•Develop tactics and programs in accordance to the business model with the given annual budget.
•Plan, manage and monitor local sales team (Region) to execute the agreed strategies (training and education included) for ensuring maximum efficiency on resources spent.
•Consolidate reports as well as updated market intelligence to Manager, Business Development, China.
•Maintain cohesive business relationships with HKDL trade partners as well as key external parties including local tourism bureaus, HKTB Rep. office, airlines, etc.
•Coordinate with other HKDL sales divisions for any business lead generated from China to the Resort i.e. youth, BS&E.
•Bachelor Degree in tourism or travel industry related disciplines;
•At least 8-10 years of sales and trade marketing experiences in a management role with exposures to hospitality industries;
•Travel industry knowledge, good relationship and network with travel trade in respective Mainland region;
•Strong leadership, result oriented with proven track record in delivering sales goals. Geographically mobile and willing to travel;
•Fluent in both verbal and written English and Chinese
