Global Security is responsible for protecting the people, properties, assets, information and brand of the Walt Disney Company and all of its owned companies. The Global Security Technology team drives governance, operational, and fiscal efficiency of life/safety security systems that serve as key components to security service delivery across four lines of business and six international geographies.

Global Security is looking for a Senior Systems Architect, Global Security Technology to lead architectural design, development, and deployment of enterprise wide global security systems. Scope of work includes access control systems, information management, case management, dispatch, CCTV video management, IP radio communications, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct architecture review of Global Security systems and make recommendations to improve scalability and operational/cost efficiency for all security layer components

  • Translate Global Security operational requirements into technical needs

  • Perform cost-benefit analysis for various implementation options and identify any gaps in current investment trajectory

  • Maintain current versions of architecture documentation, diagrams, and knowledge base articles

  • Lead development of Global Security’s cloud strategy, integration roadmap, and technical maturity model

  • Govern configuration item currency of all connected components/devices for the above stated systems

  • Define and track technical performance KPIs and SLAs

  • Forecast consumption growth and recommend design adjustments as needed

  • Identify and lead proof of concepts for applicable emerging technologies

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a support and operations role of any of the following areas: servers, networks, telecommunication, operating systems, middleware, hardware/software support or other infrastructure services role, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

  • 5-7 years of experience with internal and external networking, application management, thin/thick client architecture

  • 5-7 years of enterprise wide project management experience

  • Aptitude for personal communication and diplomacy skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure lifecycle management

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 5-7 years of experience with physical security technologies, including access control, video management, case management, dispatch, IP communications, and mass notification.

  • Clustering and load balancing administration

  • Knowledge of MS Project; Crystal Reports, Concur, Big Fix

  • PMP, PSP, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, COBIT

  • Low voltage installation experience
