Global Security is responsible for protecting the people, properties, assets, information and brand of the Walt Disney Company and all of its owned companies. The Global Security Technology Team drives governance, operational, and fiscal efficiency of security systems that serve as key components to security service delivery across four lines of business and six international geographies.
Global Security is looking for a Senior Analyst, Global Security Technology (Project Hire) to expand visitor management and emergency communications technologies across the enterprise. The Senior Analyst will serve as the thought leader and subject matter expertise on enterprise-wide initiatives related to an assigned Global Security technical stack, including capital projects, software/hardware currency, vulnerability management, governance, standards, and key performance metrics.
Responsibilities : The Senior Analyst will on a regular basis support the Senior Manager on the following:
Manage funding, building, sustaining, and as needed, transferring or retiring of assigned systems.
Provide key performance metrics regarding risk management, service maturity, and service level agreements.
Measure adherence to security technology standards and policy, and provide recommendations for changes or updates as needed.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Security Architects to plan and execute new builds on time and within budget.
Maintain software, hardware, and vulnerability management currency for assigned systems.
Basic Qualifications :
5-7 years of experience in a security function through corporate, academic, military, and/or law enforcement environments.
A minimum of 3 years of experience at an Analyst level with responsibility for security systems.
Substantive technical experience with enterprise-grade global security systems such as access control, intrusion detection, video management, radio over IP, mass notification systems, etc.
Experience assisting with management of projects, budget input, and project updates.
Aptitude for personal communication and diplomacy skills.
Strong emotional intelligence.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure lifecycle management
Knowledge and experience with case management and dispatching systems.
Preferred Qualifications :
3 years in a multinational organization
Additional experience working for a major Value-Added-Retailer, integrator, and/or security vendor
Knowledge of MS Project; Chrystal Reports, Concur, Big Fix
Genetec or other video management system enterprise certifications
PMP, PSP, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, COBIT
Required Education :
- AA degree or higher in Information Technology or information systems; or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
