Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research arm of The Walt Disney Company’s (TWDC) Parks and Resorts business segment. Representing more than 150 disciplines, the talented corps of Imagineers are responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects. Theme park projects are complex. The Business Technology team develops web-based tools to help projects stay on time and on budget.

We are seeking a BIM & VDC Product Lead to manage the product development of an entire ecosystem of Imagineer-facing tools.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee product strategy for the Integrated Authoring Pipeline efforts. Refine and communicate the product roadmap to stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Analyze and map complex business processes, working with business stakeholders to prioritize and define new workflows around software that we will buy, integrate, or build

  • Own the product decisions for applications that are critical for the organization. Lead prioritization, planning, and management efforts

  • Develop metrics and analytics to evaluate success of applications. Use measurements to inform product direction

  • Manage the product side of purchasing, customizations, and integrations on top of third-party solutions and with existing applications internally

  • Lead vendors and consultants in development engagements

  • Oversee a user experience that minimizes friction and delights Imagineers. Source and direct designers when necessary

  • Design training and onboarding experience for the products. Manage communication of product developments

Basic Qualifications :

  • 8-years of large-scale product management experience, including enterprise-scale deployments and infrastructure

  • Working knowledge Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and Autocad APIs

  • Working knowledge of McNeel Rhino API

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2-years of web development experience using a modern web framework (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Spring, Node.js)

  • Basic web frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS)

  • .NET Framework (C#) focused on Windows development

Required Education :

  • Bachelors or equivalent

Preferred Education :

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
