The Walt Disney Company Service Manager in Celebration, Florida
The Service Manager is accountable for the overall strategy, planning, implementation and management of employee facing Workplace Services for The Walt Disney Company.
The Service Manager is the focal point for business requirements, service design, service efficiency, marketing, training, and communicating the services and overall strategy to internal Enterprise Technology organizations and Business Segments. This includes defining and managing solution design, trending and analysis, identifying opportunities, financial management, contracts, suppliers, and service changes working closely with Legal, Finance, Contract, Client Engagement, Service Delivery and Sourcing organizations.
The Service Manager also works closely with the Engineering and Architecture teams to design the best technical solutions for each service and must maintain a current broad understanding of the technologies, vendor roadmap and strategy, industry trends and best practices related to the services.
Additionally, the Service Manager will ensure that appropriate visibility and participation occurs in key planning and project related or issue related meetings requiring strong project management and leadership experience.
Work with business segments, other technology teams (both internal and external), and service providers to define technical and business requirements for each service including ROI
Develop technology services to meet current and future business requirements
Oversee the implementation of technology services from design to deployment
Perform trending and analysis to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities including portfolio rationalization
Develop and maintain an overall strategy and roadmap for Services
Manage all business aspects of each service including planning, budget, allocations, marketing and communication
Negotiate and maintain contract SOWs, pricing, and support models for appropriate service providers.
Basic Qualifications :
5+ years of professional enterprise technology experience relating to Workplace Services
3+ years using a standard project management methodology
3+ years successfully developing enterprise technology standards and roadmaps
Advanced service management and project management skills and experience
Advanced relationship management skills and experience
Experience managing large scale enterprise technology initiatives
Advanced to expert understanding of an infrastructure shared services environment
Advanced to expert understanding of the Workplace Services / employee facing technologies and services
Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings to plan use of new technology
Demonstrated ability to effectively market and communicate enterprise technology Services
Strong Customer service skills with the ability to interact with business and technology community at any level
Advanced communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and experience communicating to executives
Demonstrated ability to work with a wide array of technical and managerial personnel to solve complex problems
Advanced analytical skills with strong problem solving and creative solutioning experience
Advanced business analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Required Education :
- BA/BS Degree in Information Technology related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education :
Experience with the management of high value and/or complex enterprise technology outsourcing contracts, financial analysis, and business risk analysis
Demonstrated enterprise technology leadership experience
Additional Information :
- Position can be based in Burbank, CA or Orlando, FL or Seattle, WA.
