The Walt Disney Company Senior Manager, Business Integration (PH) in Celebration, Florida

The Global HR Operations (GHRO) team is responsible for the strategic development and execution of HR services and information to employees, managers, and HR partners throughout the Enterprise.

The person will lead a team focused on the strategic development and analysis of current state operations while also building future state recommendations. This leader will develop and execute project plans to implement recommendations with the goal of creating an optimal employee experience. They will lead the team who will identify gaps, lead the recommended HR Operations process or technical changes with the appropriate partners and develop the change management plans necessary to support a successful implementation.

Responsibilities :

  • Thinks strategically about the vision of the employee experience and how GHRO can partner with Enterprise HR partners to make proactive recommendations on approach and deliverables. Leads work with notable risk and complexity and makes decisions on the strategy for execution.

  • Leads the team responsible for the development and execution of communication including appropriate cadence and mediums

  • Assesses current state processes along with future state visions to identify differences and works with Executive leadership, and various HR partners in driving to resolution

  • Leads the partnership between several teams such as communication, regulatory, technology in developing content intended for stakeholders, partners, and clients of the Global HR Operations organization

  • Builds relationships with leaders across the Enterprise to enable easy transitions of work due to clear planning, while leveraging change management techniques, technology and process tools, and communication channels.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum seven years of leadership experience or HR functional expertise

  • Previous Disney experience

  • Foundational knowledge of Company policies and HR practices

  • Experience managing teams through change

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on developing salaried talent within the organization

  • Proven political savviness at building professional relationships and influencing stakeholders, including executives; demonstrated courage in the face of adversity

  • Demonstrated polish and professionalism at all times even when engaging with leaders and team members with differing points of view

  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to gain agreement while keeping both the client and the goals of the Global HR Operation organization in mind

  • Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution, networking, continuous improvement, and technical aptitude skills

  • Demonstrated competence in managing projects. Holding self and others accountable to meet deadlines and deliver results.

  • Proven effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop both written and verbal executive summaries

  • Ability to frame up very complex issues in a simple way to enable decision making

  • Ability to build a cohesive team while maintaining productivity

  • Ability to identify when executive escalation is necessary

  • Ability to develop and implement operational and organizational strategies
