The Manager Workplace Service provides guidance, direction, and oversight to Service Managers and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and vision for multiple IT services.
This position is the leadership focal point for communicating overall strategy to IT organizations and Business Segments and ensures standards and best practices are defined for Service Managers. This includes defining standards and best practices for requirements gathering, managing solution design, pricing, contracts, suppliers, budgets, service changes and working closely with Legal, Finance, Contract, TRM, and Sourcing organizations. The Manager Workplace Services will also partner with other IT leaders and Architects to define comprehensive strategic roadmaps and will ensure that appropriate visibility and participation occurs in key planning and project related meetings requiring leadership experience.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction to Service Line Managers
Standardize processes and procedures for Service Line Manager responsibilities
Define overall strategy and roadmap for mulitiple IT Services
Oversee all business aspects of each service including planning, budget, allocations, marketing and communication
Negotiate and maintain contract SOWs, pricing, and support models for appropriate service providers.
Basic Qualifications :
7+ years of professional IT management experience relating to Client Services
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach ,and manage others
5+ years using a standard project management methodology
5+ years successfully developing IT standards and roadmaps
Advanced service management and project management skills and experience
Advanced relationship management skills and experience
Experience managing large scale IT initiatives
Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings to plan use of new technology
Demonstrated ability to effectively market and communicate IT Services
Strong Customer service skills with the ability to interact with business and IT Leaders
Demonstrated ability to work with a wide array of technical and managerial personnel to solve complex problems
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with the management of high value and/or complex IT outsourcing contracts, financial analysis, and business risk analysis
Demonstrated IT Leadership experience
Required Education :
- BA/BS Degree in Information Technology related field, or equivalent work experience
