The Walt Disney Company Digital Marketing Manager (Contract) in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

The Digital Marketing Manager (Contract) will be responsible for developing overall strategic direction, planning, implementing and monitoring of all digital marketing activities for The Walt Disney Company Hong Kong, including social media, digital initiatives and digital media buy for our core franchises (Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars) and different products including movies, consumer products, games and apps.

The Digital Marketing Manager (Contract) reports to the Marketing Director of The Walt Disney Company (Hong Kong) Limited and works with the marketing team including Franchise and Theatrical Marketing Leads, Publicity Manager and internal stakeholders from US and local.


Responsibilities :

  • Develop overall strategic directions and drive digital marketing

  • Plan and manage editorial contents for our own social media accounts (facebook, Instagram and YouTube) – including developing editorial calendar, drafting post copy, working with vendors on content localization and local content creation

  • Develop social media campaign, digital initiatives and ideas to support movie launch and franchise activities

  • Brief and liaise with vendors and agencies on creative and production to ensure timely and quality delivery of work

  • Brief and liaise with media agencies on digital media buy, review media plan and monitor campaign results

  • Ensure systematic measurement against KPI’s of all projects and campaigns

  • Analyze performance results and take insight and learnings into future digital campaign strategy (test, learn & optimization plans)

  • Update management and stakeholders on market trends, analysis on our own social media and campaign reports

  • Maintain relations with key digital media partners/ platforms, explore, pitch and manage promotions and partnerships

  • Proactively explore innovative and new digital marketing opportunities

Basic Qualifications :

  • At least 15 years working experience with a minimum of 10 years working experience in the field of marketing, advertising, media or communication, and 5 years’ experience specializing in Hong Kong digital marketing (candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager)

  • Solid and versatile digital marketing experience and knowledge

  • Good connection with key digital media partners/ platforms

  • Proficiency in using different web analytics tool to optimize campaign performance (e.g. Google Analytics)

  • Proficiency in PC software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing

  • Good communication skills, excellent spoken and written Chinese and English

  • Creative, able to work independently and under pressure, open-minded, self-motivated, responsible, mature, diligent, well-organized and a good team player

Required Education :

  • Degree holders in the field of marketing, business, communications, digital or related disciplines
