The Global Information Security (GIS) group provides services and solutions to protect the value and use of Disney’s information through risk evaluation, collaboration, standardization, enforcement, and education across the enterprise. We protect the brand and reputation while enabling and supporting business objectives. GIS teams are located in Seattle, Burbank, and Orlando.

In order to ensure that our services keep TWDC secure, we follow an ongoing, iterative process, including continued reevaluation of our services over time to address emerging threats as well as changes in business and technology. This process includes:

  1. Analysis of known and emerging threats to determine risks against TWDC assets

  2. Creation, maintenance, governance and communication of security policies and standards across TWDC

  3. Assessment and audit of compliance against the security policies and standards

  4. Assurance that TWDC assets are effectively managed and monitored to meet TWDC security criteria

The IAM Senior Technical Specialist will design, develop, and analyze reports to uncover security risks in the Identity & Access Management area. The person will serve as a subject matter expert to identity threats from data anomalies; report security risk trends; and develop dashboards of key performance indicators across IAM services. This position requires outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret and summarize data into meaningful information. The ideal candidate will be responsible to provide regular metrics/dashboard to the executives.

Responsibilities :

  • Conducting intelligence analysis and research to identify and take action on potential risks, issues and threats to management and executives in order to accurately depict and mitigate the current and emerging threat landscape.

  • Design and develop dashboards that represent key performance indicators and identity based metrics across IAM services

  • Create, verify, disperse, and automate when possible of both routine and ad hoc reports

  • Perform data collection, build integration amongst various data sources when needed, to generate reports

  • Collaborate with Business Partners to develop and implement best practices for risk identification, measurement, performance and evaluation.

  • Collaborate with other reporting and analysis team members as well as Business Partners to develop a strong culture of information validation across the entire organization to ensure integrity and robustness of the message and supporting analysis across all reporting

  • Interpret data results and compile data into presentation-ready reports that enables an integrated/holistic view of IAM data

  • Provide documentation for reports and dashboard design

  • Under limited direction, serve as a liaison between business units and IT organizations to define user needs for system solutions.

  • Provide business analysis for larger and more complex applications, including analysis of business processes and translating user requirements for software implementation and/or development teams.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 8+ years in technology organizations with minimum 4 years of success in delivering projects and other initiatives

  • 5-6 years performing complex data analysis

  • 2+ years in an Identity Management oriented area of expertise

  • 2+ years of experiences with provisioning, directories & federation•

  • Knowledge in security or Identity related areas

  • Knowledge of API design

  • Knowledge of Directories such as Active Directory & Virtual Directory, Federation & other authentication/authorization technologies

  • Strong background & knowledge in data management & database structures

  • Ability to understand and write complex MS SQL queries

  • Strong knowledge of BI tools and reporting engines

  • Ability to analyze, understand, formulate insightful questions, and communicate key insights of metrics and indicators

  • Ability to independently problem solve in scenarios where a precedent does not exist

  • Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities and follow through on commitments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Skilled at MS office, focus on Excel and Power Point

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau, Cognos, Qlik

  • Knowledge of middleware technologies like Web Methods

  • Understanding of risk management principals

  • Experiences with NoSQL database

  • Experience with SIEM software such as Splunk, ArcSight, or QRadar


Required Education :

  • BA/BS in business or computer science or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education :

  • BS Degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience
