The Manager, Store Operations provides technical expertise to the Operations on critical levers to activate, drive and manage daily retail operational needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide financial understanding of key driving business dynamics

  • Focus on UPT, ADS, Conversion, SPLH, Rate

  • Share key learnings with merchandise partners on a weekly basis

  • Educate partners on fundamental dynamics of driving in-season business tactics

  • Prepare performance recap of all strategies executed

  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure merchandise strategies are executed to meet financial objectives

  • Analyze and prepare necessary reporting and facilitate location visits with all key strategic partners

  • Lead a team that will deliver consistent tools, and training on business opportunities

  • Establish and direct career development of self and direct reports

  • Partner with Store Operations to ensure area data integrity

  • Review weekly/monthly reporting and create action plans to enhance business results

  • Work closely with merchandise organization to understand key financial priorities

Basic Qualifications :

  • Proficient in the following computer skills; Merchandise Planning related systems, financial planning and Microsoft office suite software

  • Possesses business savvy skills inclusive of performance reporting and interpretation, fiscal responsibility/budget management, merchandise planning competencies

  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written, as well as listening strengths

  • Merchandising competency in creating adjacency plans that support both financial goals and profile of the location

  • Excellent partnering skills

Required Education :

  • 4-year degree or equivalent, management experience, retail math, business strategy development
