The Walt Disney Company Disney Desk Leader in Anaheim, California

This position supports the Manager of Disney Desk Sales program at the Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Resort sales and service objectives. Candidate will work closing hours and weekend nights.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Disney Desk Manager in hiring, terminations, coaching, cast development of specialists, performance evaluations and managing 50 cast members at remote ticket kiosk locations

  • Assist in development of Disney Desk offsite start-up locations as required

  • Provides nights and weekend Manager coverage for the Disney Desk Operations and retail client support

  • Consistently review and enforce the Four Keys, Disney Desk Values and Disney Look guidelines as they pertain to the Disney Desk program

  • Assist Main Entrance Vacation Planners with Sales coaching and supports Disneyland Resort key sales and guest service initiatives

  • Validates and supports Main Entrance Vacation Planner training, marketing strategies and sales tools to enhance upsell and length-of-stay ticket sales objectives

  • Maintains the safe operation of the Disney Desk program

  • Ensures and maintains supply levels through ordering, including office supplies and program supplies

  • Maintain accurate records of Disney Desk Sales agents per DLR guidelines

  • Supports Disney Desk Account Service Specialist as needed

  • Partners with Disney Desk Manager and Workforce Planning Scheduler to develop weekly Disney Desk Sales agent schedules

  • Partner with area Account Service Specialists to review and maintain daily line schedules.

  • Ensures program oversight of cast incentives, supportive point of sale marketing tools and development of Account Service Specialists accountabilities

  • Uphold all Currency and Ticketing procedures

  • Perform emergency duties as specified in the Resort Emergency and Evacuation Plan

  • Assist in providing Sales and Cast metrics reporting

  • Be available to Disney Desk Account Service Specialists and Cast Members to address immediate concerns

Basic Qualifications :

  • Skilled in Leadership, Coaching, Training, Sales Generation, Strategic Planning, Customer Service, Conflict Resolution and Time management.

  • Strong Disneyland Resort Knowledge.

  • Previous Sales and Marketing Experience required.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Must have vehicle to drive from site to site on a daily basis.

  • 4 year college degree

Required Education :

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
