The Walt Disney Company IT Operations Analyst in China

Strong customer focused role focusing on maintaining the relationship and professional image between IT and internal users from APAC share service center. The role includes first and second level IT support.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide 1 st and 2 nd level helpdesk support to users based at APAC shared service center

  • Update and maintain “Service Tickets” in Service Manager system

  • Answer queries concerning usage of standard applications and provide technical Disney complied solutions

  • Coordinate with the local/regional/international IT functional teams for customer support

  • Maintain a high availability of IT infrastructure hardware on site level (Printers/VTC facilities/network switches/servers/ projectors/ Polycom)

  • Maintain the IT inventory and manage IT assets (laptop/ Avaya phone/ monitor/ keyboard/ docking/ printing drum/ mouse/ cable, etc.) in a timely manner

  • Proactively maintain the Desktop environment for the share service center business according to Disney IT standards, policies and procedures

  • Work on specific IT projects required by the business or assist in initiatives as directed by global, International or regional IT teams

  • Ensure compliance with local legislative requirements for software licensing

  • IT support for on boarding and off boarding.

Basic Qualifications :

Education:

Degree in Computer Science or relevant

Requirement

  • In depth technical understanding of PC platforms and up-to-date experience on Help Desk and LAN/WAN technologies

  • Experience in service provision, preferably in a helpdesk environment

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant systems support, help desk, training or other computer related experience.

  • Experience with Windows OS and MS Office a must

  • Hands on experience on assembling PC is a must

  • Hands on experience on Avaya telephone system

  • Good knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory is a must

  • ITIL/PMP certification is a plus

excellent English skill in both speaking and writing is a must
