The Game Producer will work closely with the Director, Disney Interactive in developing and managing all of Disney Interactive SEA’s game development and assets licensing initiatives.
The role requires both real-world production and commercial experience to lead Disney Interactive SEA’s clients and partners in creating, distributing, publishing and managing live operations of DI’s games. The role will oversee projects from inception to launch as well as the further development and operations of the game post launch throughout the entire product life cycle. The remit of the role ranges from a limited advisory role to overseeing full-scale game and app development projects. This is a key management position, working closely with third parties (e.g. developers, publishers, content experts, evaluation teams) and working directly with producers from the Asia Content Team and central studios. As the Game Producer, the role will be responsible for delivering a compelling and high-quality monetizing title on time and on budget.

Manage external publishing and development of games or licensing of assets from inception to launch via external developers and publishers.
Manage the project’s P&L and ensure profitability.
Plan all tasks and assets within a project and ensure the project’s stated balance of quality, time, and budget.
Manage brand approvals by coordinating with development partners and Disney’s franchises – Disney, Marvel, Lucas Arts and Pixar.
Develop and evolve local production processes and methodologies.
Drive communication within the team, as well as with external stakeholders and departments.
Preparing partnership pitches for developers, publishers and internal decision makers.
Assume responsibility for KPIs of the game: LTV, churn (active, pay), conversion rate, ARPU, and activity engagement.
Lead and support the partner’s game team, provide direction, goals, mentoring, training, guidance and feedback to lead and help improve the creative culture of the game team.
Conducting stakeholder interviews around game projects.
Streamlining feedback from content experts and internal game teams/producers.
Forming partnerships to scale and sustain projects i.e. localization houses, game telemetry and analytics platforms, publishing companies, etc.
Collaborating with internal experts to evaluate products / services.
Drive a public RFP process to search for potential partners.
Leading concept workshops with partners that are interested in pursuing licensing or co-development partnerships.
Sell the value of the game(s) across Disney and the local industry, including interviews and meetings with the press, partner companies, Disney executives, etc.
Supporting partners in all aspects of overseeing a successful development and publishing process.
Leading market research on latest trends, competitor analysis and business models. Other:
Manage production of non-gaming products such as entertainment/publishing apps and chat app stickers
Basic Qualifications :
5-10 years of experience in the gaming industry leading development teams as a game producer for MMO titles.
Strong experience working and operating free-to-play AAA titles in Southeast Asia utilizing global brands and popular IPs.
Spearheaded at least three live service games from concept phase to a successful launch and live operations.
Experience across various genres (i.e. casual, core, social) and platforms (i.e. iOS, Android, Facebook, HTML5, Web).
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to efficiently deliver high-quality features and experiences under tight time and budget constraints.
Strong experience in communicating effectively with clients, developers, analysts, business partners and top management.
Wide network of contacts in the local game industry (i.e. development houses, game publishers, design studios, analytics, etc).
A passion for playing and creating high-quality games and running live operations to sustain engagement and monetization.
Deep understanding of game design, game analytics, game loops and project management.
Excellent analytical skills with strong creative acumen.
Strong understanding of free-to-play games, local user behaviour, gaming patterns, social drivers, business models, telemetry, analytics, whale management and user monetization.
Strong knowledge of current local demands/trends in gaming.
Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
