Responsible for pitching and executing third party tie-in promotions to add value in film marketing
Developing a strategic promotional partners pitch list and pitch deck for each film.
Identifying and evaluation of best fit for each film by understanding of the film property, product placement, star value and film’s target audience for matching with the best promotion ideas.
An understanding of the target audience and evaluation of the best fit partners for developing a win win promotion program that can enhance the film’s marketing message
Manages tie in promotions and synergy activities including liaison with partners, submission of promotion creative and mechanics for International promotion team approval and provide complete feedbacks for partner revisions.
Work with Marketing team closely to understand their marketing needs in the area of third party promotion supports for each film.
Providing creative promotional solutions for each film Eg. Product placement, Sponsored event ideas such as mall events, product licensing opportunity that can enhance the movie experience and franchise awareness towards the target audiences.
Building and maintaining relationships with synergy partners from other Disney divisions, ensuring the film line up strategy and materials are clearly communicated, and making sure the activities of other divisions created during film launch are compatible with the film strategy and materials.
Ensuring an up to date knowledge of what the activities from other business units are line up for each film property.
Basic Qualifications :
- Minimum 8 years’ solid local marketing, advertising, partnership experience from entertainment, brand and agency.
An organized, self-motivated manager with an eye for details who is able to successfully implement multiple initiatives, run multiple tasks simultaneously and drive results for the project. The candidate must be a team player and is able to work with internal and external partners seamlessly. The successful candidate must be an avid movie fan. He/she is expected to possess the following qualities:
Strong planning and execution skills; experience in handling project, partnership, business planning and implementation.
Communication skills: persuasive, passionate and effective skills in getting point across written and spoken forms.
Problem solving skills: able to identify and resolve issues independently and communicate solutions effectively
Analytical skills: able to provide sound recommendations based on good understanding of the market and general business environment.
Professionalism and integrity, a team player who can perform well under pressure
Genuine passion for the film industry and marketing field work: candidate must be willing to roll up his/her sleeves and go above and beyond the call of duty when the job calls for it.
Bilingual written and verbal: English/Mandarin
Experience in cross-functional collaboration experiences and persuasive selling
Basic knowledge and understanding of deal terms and corporate legal terms
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to influence people of all levels
Willingness to adapt changes and new approaches
Strong computer skills in keynotes, PowerPoint and Excel
Required Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in a leading university, local or foreign in Business, Marketing or other related field or equivalent work experience.
