Provides business systems and application support to the Distribution Services Team. Systems supported include, but are not limited to, Oracle Retail (primary responsibility), SAP, Smart forecast. Provides analytical support for business case decisions to support continuous improvements and long term planning. Provide system expertise to allow the team opportunities to exploit full utilization of the systems. Project management of system upgrades and implementation.

Responsibilities : 50%: Manages the tactical and strategic use of the systems and applications utilized by Distribution Services. Ensures Distribution Services understands the opportunities available for use of the systems to optimize the organization. Provides day-to-day support and drives improved user productivity through developing and implementing new business processes and systems solution

10%: Provides business process analysis support, communication, documentation and/or project leadership on local, division and Resort wide projects. Assist end users in identifying and obtaining information needs from Division systems

15%: Create business specifications that document desired reports, screen changes and data base to support end-user requirements

15%: Act as liaison with user community and IS for obtaining technical systems support

10%: Identify user training opportunities and provide training as needed

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years experience supporting ERP systems (Oracle Retail, or SAP preferred) and Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle Retail preferred), ERP

  • SQL Proficiency

  • Prior systems implementation experience

  • Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Value Stream mapping

  • Basic budgeting and accounting skills

  • Comfortable with written communication to all audience levels and able to prepare informal operating guidelines

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Project and Visio

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of Production/Manufacturing systems (Maximo)

  • Self directed ability to leverage organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills resulting in positive results

  • Proven leadership qualities that clearly demonstrate successful mentoring, planning, communication and execution.

  • Proven ability to lead in an inclusive environment both within and outside the line of business.

  • Consistently demonstrates the understanding of the Disney Heritage, Values, and Culture in their daily activities
