Responsibilities : Business Intelligence
The Business Intelligence Team at The Walt Disney Company looks after International stakeholders and their evolving analytical, insight and reporting needs. The main areas covered are Business Intelligence reporting tools and implementations, Social Media Analytics and design of data solutions to support the consolidated view across the Disney businesses and territories.
The Business Intelligence Team aims to provide easily accessible fact-based decision support tools to the International business, founded on high quality data and Agile systems and processes.
Role and responsibilities:
As the Business Intelligence Intern, you will engage with various aspects of supporting and developing the BI function by building deep business knowledge; identifying opportunities for process, analytics, data, workflow and system improvement; capturing and documenting requirements.
There will be new and existing technologies to master, from innovative start-up apps to enterprise-scale data warehousing and reporting solutions and you’ll use your technical understanding and data science skills to enable the business to anticipate future needs and understand potential opportunities to turn insight into action.
Social Media Analytics combined with other business data is another key aspect of the role and you will explore network analysis, creating statistical modelling and new visualisations, all underpinned with a statistical approach.

Preferred Qualifications :
MUST be an undergraduate returning to full time education
MUST have the right to work in the UK
MUST Have a minimum of 300 UCAS Points
Applicants will be studying for a relevant degree in an Econometrics or Statistics subject and will demonstrate a real passion for data science
Strong problem solving and analytical skills are essential
Experience with SQL, Python, Excel or other statistical tools is strongly preferred
