Royalties Analyst will work with Manager of Global Royalties to calculate and process all talent payments.

Royalties Analyst will need to be organized and efficient in order to meet the demands of a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Cleans and Validate Tech adjustments files

  • Approves Payee T/P changes

  • Approves Contract term changes

  • Prepare payment files to be processed in various systems

  • Approves and validate new Contract and Payees

  • Handles invoice payment processing

  • Performs research on all payment related issues

  • Documentation and ad- hoc analysis

  • Tracking all Advance payments and recoupment

  • Initiating all Advance payment requests

  • Creating AP related entries and reconciliations for month-end close

  • Validating all deliverables and processing associated Video Licensing payments

  • Responding to Royalties Support emails

  • Perform Ad Hoc research and special assignments as required.

  • Music Licensing research and payouts

  • Vendor set ups and changes

  • Providing support to Sr Analyst during processing cycle

Basic Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years Finance / Accounting related experience required

  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Salesforce

  • Prior experience with SAP a plus

  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills

  • Must be able to take direction and work well with others

  • Must be detail oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills

  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment while effectively meeting deadlines

  • Previous entertainment industry working experience preferred

  • Must be comfortable with technology and working with multiple software applications

  • Strong organizational skills required to keep track of multiple projects and duties for self

  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to new processes and change

Required Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
