The Global HR Operations (GHRO) team is responsible for maximizing global business performance by providing exceptional HR services and employee experiences. The GHRO team is also responsible for providing technology-enabled tools for our employees, leaders and partners – providing anytime, anywhere access to information.

Responsibilities : A Day in the Life…

This role is responsible for designing and developing onboarding training modules for the GHRO Team

  • Develop GHRO Onboarding training material in a variety of mediums

  • Consult with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate content

  • Consult with Training Manager to ensure application of appropriate adult learning principles and theories

Basic Qualifications :

  • Experience with leveraging multimedia (graphics, audio, video) to effectively communicate

  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience or coursework in developing instructional design deliverables and/or professional writing

  • Consulting experience

  • Captivate development experience

  • Graphic design experience

Required Education :

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program

  • Currently working towards or recently completed within the past 6 months a degree in Instructional Design, Communications, Journalism, Education, Human Resources or a closely related field

Preferred Education :

Coursework in an Instructional Design degree program

Additional Information :

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2018 through early June 2018

  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship

  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Orlando area

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
