Partner with project management, job captain/project lead, and project engineering, to develop project scope, cash flow, resource level, and project milestone. Work with project team, develop project strategies, risk mitigation, and recovery/acceleration plans.
Attend major project meetings in all project phases.
Develop project phasing plans.
Develop and maintain high level project execution schedules during early phase of project.
Develop detailed design and project schedule submittals during execution phase of project for team review.
Based on project execution progress, anticipate key indicators and proactively develop management and control reports to communicate in conjunction with project controller.
When project execution issues arise, develop and analyze mitigations for variances to plan.
Support accurate schedule reporting.
Develop discipline resource planning for different groups such as Show, Ride, Facility, Area Development, in conjunction with project team.
Plan and analyze project resource requirements with consideration to advanced implications such as attraction down time, shift work, interdependencies, holiday calendars and seasonal productivity variation.
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum five years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, planning, project execution, or project management.
Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
Strong, communication, collaboration, technical writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of the process of design, manufacturing, and construction.
Basic knowledge of different engineering disciplines such as civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and motion control.
Able to develop and review high level execution plans and schedule.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in Primavera Project Planner (P6) & Microsoft Project.
Experience in managing multiple project schedules.
Required Education :
- Minimum 2 year undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering, architecture, construction management.
Preferred Education :
- 4 year degree is preferred.
