The Walt Disney Company Guest Talent Assistant - Seasonal in Anaheim, California

Assists in the operation of Disneyland® Resort Guest Talent Programs events, including those for the Disney Performing Arts and Disneyland® Resort Community Arts Showcase programs.

Guest Talent Coordinator Cast Members receive a starting pay rate of $15.30/hr.

Responsibilities :

  • Stage manages and hosts assigned Guest performances and educational workshops

  • Coordinates daily logistics, transportation and technical arrangements to be made for each assigned event.

  • Coordinates all logistical details pertaining to participation in Disney Performing Arts, Disneyland® Resort Community Arts Showcase or in a special event.

  • Provides Guest groups with complete, accurate information and instruction that will guide them through their day

  • Creatively accommodates the group's needs while working within our practical limits: time constraints, Disney policies, show standards, etc.

  • Identifies potential event problems or special support requirements, and makes arrangements for solutions

  • Ascertain all elements in a show through comprehensive discussion of the presentation with the group's director

  • Protects the Disney standard of excellence in family entertainment by screening Guest performance content

  • Calls technical cues for performances and workshops

  • Accurately reports the details of each event including ticketing, merchandise distribution, performance and logistical information

  • Actively stays informed of a large number of details regarding the arrangements for each Guest group, and of ever-changing Resort and Guest Talent Programs policy

  • Acts as production assistant for on and off property special and festival events .

Basic Qualifications :

  • To produce our Guest Talent Programs events effectively and smoothly by providing excellent Guest Service

  • To ensure that each Guest group has an enjoyable, memorable and rewarding experience

  • To conduct all interaction with the group and fellow Cast Members in a professional and congenial manner

  • Ability to creatively problem solve

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain a calm, professional and positive demeanor in a frenetic work environment

  • Close familiarity with educational or community-based performing arts groups

  • Experience in stage management or event planning

  • This role is Seasonal and requires full availability for any shift, including nights and holidays

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Practical experience with personal computers

  • Participation, understanding and passion for students and the arts

  • Working knowledge of Disney Entertainment Productions and the Disneyland® Resort

  • Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
